So, yesterday in the shower, my hands were covered with hair. A little bald spot appeared on the back of my head. We went out to pizza and I noticed that random hairs would fall onto my plate. When I woke up this morning, I had a huge..."nest-like?" pile at the base of my neck. I went downstairs to breakfast and my son said I looked like a tiger with the stripes on the back of my head.
My wife had fun pulling out clumps of hair, didn't hurt at all. That was the last straw (or hair!). I went upstairs, grabbed the clippers and clipped it down to a number 1. Then my wife lathered up my head and off we went.
It was a weird sensation, the top of my head has been covered with hair since birth, albeit the amount of hair has been in steady decline for 15 years! All in all though, I am please with the results. Far better than having hair fall off everywhere.
The end result. The goatee is holding on strong, so it gets to stay.
Wit Woo! Still handsome, in my opinion! I love that Owen saw your "tiger Stripes". Love you Carrie
ReplyDeleteYeah . . . I have to agree . . . you make the bald work. You might want to consider a new hair style after this is all over. (Or should I say, "hairless" . . . )
ReplyDeleteAs long as I can remember my mom's dad always completely shaved his head. It's nice knowing that I have options! Frankly, yet again this is another way in which society has made it easier to be a man.
